What exercises can improve well-being in bronchial asthma? Consults a doctor of medical sciences, head of the course of physical therapy and medical control Voronezh State Medical Academy. N.N. Burdenko Svetlana Borisovna Korotkova.
Physical therapy for asthma is very important. Special exercises help to improve gas exchange in the lungs and reduce bronchospasm. Classes are preferably held in the fresh air. If this is not possible, then air the room well before charging. Before starting the exercises and after doing them, walk at a fast pace for 5 minutes. Gymnastics is better to do in the morning, an hour after eating. The total walking and exercise time is 15–20 minutes. To consolidate the therapeutic effect of physical education, nightly walks in the park or forest are also desirable. Their duration gradually increase from 30 minutes to 1.5 hours.
