A group of experts from Germany, New Zealand and the Netherlands conducted a two-year study that covers the period from 2009 to 2011 – a time of serious economic decline in European countries. Scientists have studied in detail the data of medical records of 7,000 people, analyzing their state of health in this time interval.
As it turned out, 105 study participants experiencing constant stress in the workplace soon discovered all the main signs of asthma. And for those who periodically experienced anxiety, the risk of developing an unpleasant disease increased by as much as 60 percent. By the way, among people who are not worried about the safety of their workplace, the number of asthma cases was only 1.3%.
